My stainless steel .22 revolver was on the way to becoming severely carbon especially at the front of the cylinder.
In much less than 30 minutes, it looked as it had never been fired!
Suggestion: Whatever chemical the cloth is soaked with, make it available in a small syringe applicator so it is easier to clean the area around the forcing cone.

I wasn't sure I'd find this after 15 years but they had it. Best way to clean GSR and blackening from the face of the cylinder.
I use to swipe the bore and chamber along with regular cleaning products and I know it's CLEAN!!
